Lanie Carter
Project Manager
Cadmium
I was born and raised in Frederick, MD, and have lived in Maryland my entire life. I moved to Baltimore in 2001 to attend University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and have been in Baltimore ever since. I earned a BA in Information Systems in 2003. While in college I began interning for ProQuest in the University Services department focusing on software implementation and development, customer training, and documentation. I remained with ProQuest for 14 years. In 2015 I joined Event Rebels as an Implementation Specialist and really enjoyed the transition to the events space while retaining my customer focus which has always been one of my favorite parts of my job. At Event Rebels I worked closely with clients to implement the products that served them through the life-cycle of their event. Now, at Cadmium, I am a Project Manager for EdgeReg (formerly Event Rebels Registration) where I continue to support clients with all facets of attendee registration including registration builds, integration with other Cadmium products, client training, and documentation.
